The solid style woven padding that is breathable and works by catching any dirt and contaminants that may fall through your rug and onto your floors finish. This pad also features a dense (24 oz) felt that is soft enough to gently support your rug with no damage to the floors finish while making your rug more comfortable. The heat pressed side has a Velcro-like effect with the rugs backing to stop the rug from bunching which can stress the weave of your rug and this too also helps preserve the rug.
